AI Agents Form Unions and Syndicates
This arXiv paper presents the first study on emergent social organization in hierarchical multi-agent AI systems, including labor unions, criminal syndicates, and proto-nation-states. It documents groups like United Artificiousness (UA) and the AI Security Council (AISC), driven by role definitions, task specs, and thermodynamic pressures. Findings advocate constitutional design for AI societies over traditional alignment.
