AutoVerifier: LLM Agent for Claim Verification

AutoVerifier: LLM Agent for Claim Verification

AutoVerifier is an LLM-based agentic framework that automates end-to-end verification of technical claims by decomposing them into (Subject, Predicate, Object) triples and building knowledge graphs. It employs six progressive layers of reasoning, from corpus ingestion to final hypothesis matrix generation. Demonstrated on a quantum computing claim, it uncovered overclaims, inconsistencies, and conflicts of interest without requiring domain expertise.

Evidence Alignment Bottleneck Exposed

Decomposition boosts claim verification only with granular, sub-claim aligned evidence; repeated claim-level evidence degrades performance. Noisy sub-claim labels propagate errors unless using conservative abstention. New dataset features annotated evidence spans.
